What is "Digital Invest Program" ?
The Digital Invest Program empowers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups ready to scale by helping them secure the funding and digital tools they need to thrive.
Designed to drive impactful growth, this program provides tailored co-funding, expert guidance on grant applications, and access to venture capital to support innovation and digital transformation
Please note: This is not an accelerator or incubation program. The focus is on raising funds and/or building digital tools, with a strong emphasis on improving the usability of your product or service to attract funding.
Who can apply?
- Organisation facing challenges with creation of digital tools, web presence, apps, or design due to high costs
- Organisation looking to raise funds or grants
- For-profit, non-profit, and state-owned institutions, must be a registered company.
- Ready to scale up revenue channel and open to new markets
- Pre-seed, seed, and revenue-generating companies can apply

Submit Expression of Interest: Complete our application form to express your interest.
Background Evaluation: BøthOfUs will conduct a background check on your organization.
Selection Notification: If shortlisted, you’ll receive an email to schedule a meeting.
Commitment Fee: A one-time commitment fee applies based on your company’s stage.

Grants & Funds
Eligible organizations collaborate with BøthOfUs to develop strategies, presentations, and pursue funding opportunities. Through our network of 3,421 VCs, 1,987 angel investors, 418 family offices, and weekly EU and U.S. grant updates, BøthOfUs connects you to valuable resources.
We may also co-fund up to 25-50% of market costs to support digital tools, design, websites, and digital marketing.

Next Steps
Step 1:
Shortlisted organizations will receive an email with a link to schedule a meeting.
Step 2:
During the initial 15-minute meeting, the organization’s needs will be assessed, and the commitment fee will be discussed.
Step 3:
Upon selection, the organization proceeds with payment of the commitment fee.
Step 4:
Phase 1: A workshop will be scheduled (duration: 40 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes) to conduct a thorough analysis of the organization’s funding needs and overall status.
Step 5:
Following the workshop, a detailed report and a proposed action plan will be provided within a few days (estimated time: 1 hour).
Phase 2:
BøthOfUs will collaborate with the organization to apply for various grants, venture capital (VC) funding, and other financial opportunities.
Step 6:
BøthOfUs will cover 25% to 40% of the costs and manage all aspects of digital solution development. This includes creating websites, tools, applications, and utilizing machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), deep tech, design, and branding. Costs will be evaluated based on the organization’s market expenditures.
Step 7:
BøthOfUs and the organization will jointly apply for funding, which may involve travel or virtual meetings with investors.
Please note:
- A minimum commitment of 2 hours per week is required from at least one representative of the participating organization.
- The organization is responsible for submitting applications for VC and grants provided by the program team.

The SME Program is designed for startups, small, and medium businesses that require:
- Design or development of digital tools such as apps, websites, and tech tools. This semi-granted program allows participants to pay only 50% of the value, with the remaining cost covered by the BøthOfUs Fund.
- A strong revenue generation model or business model review.
- Access to grants and funds, with BøthOfUs facilitating connections with investors and collaborating with SMEs to apply for funding.
- Support for expansion into the US, EU, or Australian markets.
- Development of a robust company strategy.
The SME Program is a co-funded initiative run by BøthOfUs and EU organizations
To be eligible for the program, the startup, SME, or organization must demonstrate a need for funding and/or digital solutions. This includes needs such as creating an app, website, AI, ML, branding, or design.
As a startup or SME, you will receive up to 50% of the expenses related to the development of software or digital solutions.
For example, if you wish to create an app or website and the market value for this development is €50,000, under this grant program, BøthOfUs will cover €25,000 of the expense and will also undertake the creation of the app or website valued at €25,000. In exceptional cases, companies may receive a digital development grant covering up to 75% of the costs.
Please note, the funds will not be disbursed directly; rather, they will be utilized for the development of the digital solutions
No, BøthOfUs will not take any equity from participating SMEs in this EU program.
BøthOfUs has already received funding from the EU and private investors in the EU and USA for implementing the program. The goal of this program aligns with the EU’s objectives of digitalization and digital transformation.
In the long term, if a startup or SME creates significant social impact on a large scale, BøthOfUs may consider becoming an equity investor, with potential funding of up to €1 million
Yes, you can participate. However, the company must be legally registered to receive any funds.
Yes, startups and SMEs from all countries are eligible to apply.
We plan to support 6 companies in Summer 2024 and 6 companies in Winter 2024.
Phase 1 of the program lasts 1 to 2 weeks.
Phase 2 of the program lasts 3 to 12 months, depending on the app or website that the startup or SME wants to create.
The participating startup/company is required to commit to weekly participation and meetings for the purpose of discussing and defining project scopes.
If a participating startup/company decides to discontinue after initiating the program, they may do so at any time without a binding time commitment. Please note that the commitment fee is non-reimbursable
